We are looking for a member of the local community who would like to put their name forward as a community governor for the school. This is a nominated role, not an elected parent governor role. If you know someone in the local community who would be interested, please ask them to get in touch with the school.
The members of Lab_13 Irchester committee were invited to attend the Real Science in School Symposium in Nottingham on 10th February. Here is committee member's Alex and Lauren's write:
Hello this is alexander Tryka and Lauren Maloney and we are a part of the Irchester lab_13 committee and we really enjoyed your brilliant science festival in Nottingham before half term. The Sheriff of Nottingham was super nice the 3D printer group was amazingly smart and the Infra-Red camera was really interesting. We absolutely loved travelling by train and tram to visit the festival and we loved the venue. We give the festival a solid 12/10! PS: The chocolate was so good I tried to sneak 5 but at the end I got caught! Please tell other schools about the amazing time we had.
Over the half term break we have had new playground equipment installed. A huge thank you to FICPS for all your hard work to raise funds for the equipment.
