A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Each pupil can have three seats for family for the performance (no under 5’s please) and it will start at 4.30pm at Wollaston Secondary School. You do not need to book these seats and we won’t be issuing tickets – you may just arrive at Wollaston for the performance by 4.30pm.
During the transition days the children will arrive and depart from their usual classroom entrance/exit. The Year 6 children will catch the coach to Wollaston Secondary School. Those Year 6 children not going to Wollaston should come into school as usual.

We are looking for a member of the local community who would like to put their name forward as a community governor for the school. This is a nominated role, not an elected parent governor role. If you know someone in the local community who would be interested, please ask them to get in touch with the school.
Year 2 have enjoyed visiting Irchester Country Park to discover the signs of spring. They have been tracking the changes in the Country Park throughout the year, making careful observations and keeping a record of what they have found.
Year 6 have survived SATs week – we are extremely proud of their positive approach and resilient attitude towards what were quite challenging tests. They can now enjoy preparing for their residential in June and Shakespeare performance at the end of the year.
At the start of term Year 4 went on a residential visit to PGL Caythorpe in Lincolnshire. They had a fantastic time testing their courage, resilience and determination to conquer their fears and try new things. This included climbing on high ropes, abseiling down the climbing tower and taking the ‘leap of faith’ from the high platform to the net below. They tried a range of new skills including archery and rifle shooting. They tested their ingenuity, creativity and team building skills by building a raft and trying it out – and yes they did all fall in!
A great time was had by all – even the staff enjoyed it; except for the lack of sleep.
